I got a M2 base 8gb/250gb...Yes I would have liked to have 16/500 but could not justify paying DOUBLE (there was a deal on the base M2). It's not a powerhouse but it's doing an amazing job as a travel laptop just to watch videos on the plane/web browsing/emails....I have a fully specced desktop at home so if I do anything remotely intensive I will not use the MBA anyways.

Apple undoubtedly understands it’s customers. However, let’s not forget that there is a partnership between Samsung and Apple. I am pretty confident that the partnership outlines what Apple can and cannot do within the partnership. Why would anyone want Apple to be an Android only separated by logo? Why would Apple sacrifice its share of the market for a folding iPhone? Samsung is a much older cell phone maker that made that from factor in the early 2000’s so they just upgraded it and sell it as a gimmick. Why must tech nerds do this too

Thank you I don’t do anything inappropriate online, but I don’t appreciate getting spam mail or inappropriate solicitation. I want to block them and I have iCloud if I wanna shop for some cosmetics that shouldn’t be no one’s concern. I’m a nice person, but I don’t like to deal with drama. I don’t have a social media account because I don’t trust it. I only have iCloud, but I’m tired of the spam.

Our platform hyperPad has been making games for iPad on the iPad for almost a decade! We were even around on the original iPad. Always pushing the hardware to it's limits.

I my old Apple WiFi routers I think the 3rd Gen time capsules with a HDD is my favorite and even the routers w/ WiFi it would be cool if they added usb-C in WiFi6-8 design/ iJustine and/Tim might listen to the users/customers feedback it would cool to more enterprise options too and I would like either core options in their Mac products especially the Mac Pro 2019 and M1-M8 models Arm chips it would be nice for additional options for 3rd party if not many of will be going Linux when it comes to servers or building a data center business/ but still hope Apple makes iCloud using there hardware/ but if remember when iCloud first started it mostly runs either Linux or pc hardware and I think even software unless macOS made some changes that went into iCloud

it just looks like more over-engineering, a make-work project at the expense of the end user. And it's always in the direction of deskilling the user, removing options, flexibility, and autonomy in favor of centralized (top down) control. Doing this FOR people, whether or not they want the "help." My new iPhone 14 now has an e-sim error that is only fixable by "contacting my carrier", going to Apple Store Urgent Care, or both...now looking into it, as if I had the time. I've already tried every "fix" suggestion online. The device is inert. I've seen this for so many years, with so many products. A design is practically optimal, and then it's "advanced" to a design that's more proprietary, less ergonomic, and typically more fragile and less remediable by the agency of the individual user. We're no longer the owners. We're the owned. Also, why are search engines getting worse instead of better? My dedicated search for "iphone 14" brings up tech suggestions for every iPhone model under the sun. This is the New Normal for practically all of my searches. Adding detailed specifics as keywords used to narrow a search productively. Now it all seems to go in the same bin, amalgamated with crowdsourced input- and, of course, ads. That top priority. The original sensitivity of search engines to finding the idiosyncratic pattern match appears to be gone. That isn't AI, it's AS. Artificial Stupidity.

As an audiophile I find what you've just said to be horrifying. I need everything in 7.1.2 @ 24bit 48KHz and partial to Dolby Surround. Because less might cause Shawn Lane fans to send me death threats. I have to do better than best because Tom Scholz is my selected regardless of the situation. I don't use Atmos unless the sound source should be overhead or if attempting to control celling reflection with a DSP ( I'm thinking in terms of acoustically dead room in both instances. )

I got a refurbished black 12 mini for under £200. I'm loving it. Looks amazing in my mous 3.0 bamboo case. Has to be one of the best phones you can get at that price. I definitely would recommend it. When the 13 mini is available for that price I may consider getting that as well just because it's the last mini Apple made but I definitely recommend the 12 mini for anyone trying to save money for things more important.

I have a phone that has a sim and esim is STILL ruining my ability to use the phone. Notifications to configure and activate the esim i swear literally every hour on the hour now. And when these notifications happen,all sim function stops,no ability to make or receive calls or send or receive texts. If data is on before hand it will literally say i don't have any available. Worst part,no ability to turn this notification off,no toggle to only use my physical sim available.

It does leave the device, when you use like a Keychain to save all those passkeys. The only saving grace from people using your passkeys are probably the biometric feature to confirm that it's you signing in.

I'd love a Vision Pro, if I could store my work someplace local. I wanted to try out the SpaceTop device, but it would mean storing my files where I needed an internet connection, and I don't always have that. Great Q&A!

Great piece, most of us don't really understand the compensation models of independent RUclipsrs. You said a mouthful when you said things change. A piece I heard on NPR recently interviewed high-schoolers and a majority of them (not a landslide majority, but more than 50%) named as their "what I want to grow up to be" the so-called job of Influencer. Some of them make it look really glamorous and lucrative, but, like a graduate with a Masters in Art History, there's a limited number of them needed in any particular area. Thanks for bringing this up, and thanks for the work you put into your videos.

haven't tried the M series, but know int HD means nothing, we run ext SSD drive and it just as fast or faster and as such 2Tb ext is cheap. Now there are 4TB SSDs(still price high)

wrong if you can afford it, you baseline should not be 16GB but 24GB. Apple already sold user on M1 that 8GB was all they needed because of the M technology and that was a joke to get people to move user to M technology. We run 64gb on mini 2018 and don't look back. Because it is unified, get the max. But at this stage now the M3 might not show but the M4 rather.
